JV MODELS : SS 100 HANOMAG

First Impressions
This was the first JV Models kit I bought and it builds into an excellent little towing vehicle to complement their other A4/V2 Accessories. I must admit when first seeing the kit in its box I was concerned about the amount of flash present especially around the window areas but also I was taken by the
sharpeness of detail and the smooth lines.

CONSTRUCTION
There are not so many parts to this one so assembly is quite straight forward and the parts are cast in a white resin that holds a lot of detail. The excess flash mentioned above is very easy to remove from the casting with no damage to detail. (I used a hobby knife and various files).

The fit of parts is good but personally I felt that a little more detailing to the interior and exterior was neccessary however the vehicle would also look good finished straight from the box. (I would recommend finding some reference material to help with the detailing of this kit)*

Above is the instruction Sheet included

PACKAGING
The kit comes supplied in JV Models usual sturdy white card box with a picture of the vehicle on the front and a simple instruction sheet included, no decal are present.

CONCLUSION
This is a lovely little kit and was a lot of fun to put together and paint, I also enjoyed adding a few extra details to finish it off. I would definately recommend this kit to fellow modeller.

You can see the excess flsh on the chassis above quite clearly but this is really easy to remove.
It is clear from the photo right that the wheel pattern is the same as used on both JV Models Mieler Wagen and Planet Models kits relating to the A4/V2
* I again found the A4/V2 Resource Site invaluable as a source of reference when building this kit and in particular the 1/35 Scale SS 100 Hanomags on displayed. Or you can check out my V2 book section for alternative reference material.
