CONDOR : A4/V2 MISSILE

Condor supply this kit in a nicely illustrated box with full instruction sheet included

There is also 2 alternative colour patterns for the V2 NOTE: don't follow either of them as although the patterns are right the colours are wrong*

The A4/V2 Missile
This is a nice 1/72 scale kit that comes in plastic and is obtainable at a very decent price in most model shops, I have been told by one V2 modeller of more experience than me that the tail fins are sightly out but the kit does fine for me. The parts clean up fine and go together well with a little filling needed in some areas.

The Firing Table
The table is pretty good if nota little heavy on detail but carrys the basics to make a good kit but if you would like to take the kit further I would recommend getting your hands on some reference material
*

Conclusion
It is great to see an A4/V2 produced in plastic and the firing table is an added bonus. If your into small Scale A4/V2's this will make a nice addition to your collection. I even read an article online about a rocket enthusiast who put a firing mechanism in one and launched it, by all accounts it flew well.

*I would recommed checking out the A4/V2 Resource Site for camoflauge patterns and also Albert Koopmans article on the firing table, if you can get it the best reference if the Operation Backfire Report.
